Osteoporosis Australia Joins National Physical Activity Alliance

Osteoporosis Australia (OA) is a founding member of the recently launched National Physical Activity Alliance. The Alliance brings together 11 non-government health and fitness organisations to promote physical activity as part of the prescription for good health for all Australians.

OA is one of many health organisations with an understanding of the importance of exercise as a preventive measure. Our three step mantra - vitamin D, calcuim intake and exercise - are well known.

We joined with several other health bodies to launch the alliance on Friday (17 October) in Canberra and will continue to participate in promoting the physical activity message.

Please see media release for more information about the alliance
