Donation Policy

Osteoporosis Australia greatly appreciates donations provided by Australians to support the work of our organisation. All donations over $2 are tax deductible. A receipt will be issued when donations are received.

Donations can be a one-off or recurring. You are able to elect the amount of your donation and all transactions are processed in Australian dollars.
Donations are received by Osteoporosis Australia, Level 2, C2.11 22 - 36 Mountain Street, Ultimo NSW 2007 , ABN 45 098 570 515, ph: 02 9518 8140.

Donations can be made online, or by phone or mail. Osteoporosis Australia takes all the necessary measures to protect your privacy. Please note the policies set out in this section should be read in conjunction with the Osteoporosis Australia Privacy Statement.

Security Policy

When donating online (or purchasing any item) with Osteoporosis Australia (ABN: 45 098 570 515), all transactions are charged in Australian dollars and are processed in Australian dollars. Donations made online on this website are processed in real time using a secure payment gateway. Refund Policy 

Please choose carefully, we do not normally give refunds if you simply change your mind or make a wrong decision. If purchasing an item from Osteoporosis Australia you can choose between a refund or an exchange (where goods are faulty or have been wrongly described). Please send your request for a refund to or call (02) 9518 8140. You may be asked to supply the date of purchase and proof of purchase. Please allow up to 10 days for refunds to be assessed and processed. 

Customer Data Policy

Personal data provided by you, to Osteoporosis Australia, is generally used to complete actions you have requested, for example, to process transactions, provide information as requested, reply to queries received or respond to feedback. We use your personal information for the purposes for which it was collected and related (reasonably foreseeable) purposes. Direct Debit Donations

Please note by submitting your account details for the ‘direct debit’ option of the Osteoporosis Australia online donation form you are authorising us to debit your account, for the amount specified by you, on a regular basis (monthly) as nominated. You will receive an automated receipt. Please note you can change your direct debit arrangement (by changing the amount or the account debited) or you can terminate the arrangement by providing us with written notification to and allowing 10 working days to process the request. It is important to note it is your responsibility to ensure sufficient funds are available in your account to allow a debit payment to be made, as submitted by you. If there are insufficient funds in your account to meet a debit payment you may be charged a fee/or interest by your financial institution. You should check your account statement to check the amounts debited are correct. If you believe there has been an error in debiting your account you should notify Osteoporosis Australia directly by contacting or calling (02) 9518 8140. We will investigate your advice and notify in writing if we conclude your account has been incorrectly debited or if we conclude it was not incorrectly debited we will provide the reasons for this finding.
